Privacy Policy

MatchLogr is an iOS and iPadOS app for football coaches. It helps users create match setups, manage teams and players, track goals, substitutions and playing time, and share match setups with other coaches.

MatchLogr is provided by Finstads Dev Projects. You can contact support at support@matchlogr.com.

Data stored on your device

MatchLogr stores the teams, player names, match setups, match records, scores and settings you create locally on your device. This data is used to provide the app's core functionality.

Shared match setups

If you choose to create a sharing link, MatchLogr uploads a compressed match setup to matchlogr.com. A shared setup may include information such as team names, player names, shirt colors, formations, planned kickoff time, match duration and venue information you entered.

Shared match setups are stored with a random link identifier and are intended for sharing with coaches or assistants. Sharing links are stored for up to 30 days and then expire. Anyone with the link may be able to open and import the shared setup during that period.

If you want a shared setup deleted earlier, contact support@matchlogr.com and include the sharing link.

Subscriptions and purchases

MatchLogr Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks creation of short sharing links and player-level goal scorer and assist selection. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Player import from images

If you use player import from an image, the app uses iOS text recognition to find names in the image. MatchLogr does not upload those images to the MatchLogr server for this feature.

Location

If you choose to use your current location for a match venue, the app uses iOS location services for that purpose. Venue information you add may be included if you later share a match setup.

Server logs and security

Our server provider may process standard technical logs, such as IP address, request time, browser or app request information, and error logs. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

No tracking or advertising

MatchLogr does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not sell personal data.

Children's data

Coaches may choose to enter player names, including names of minors. Please only enter and share player information when you have a valid reason and any required permission from your club, guardians or applicable organization.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or service changes. The updated version will be published on this page.
